This trip to India was one of my favourites so far, as I was lucky enough to be able to do so much this time around. My first priority was to visit and spend some quality time with our amazing manufacturing team. With this trip we had so much to work on together for our upcoming collections. Our need for new inspiration took us to some amazing markets, fabric stores and saw us return to some of my favourite landscapes. Visiting Jaipur and having these new and exciting experiences keeps us inspired - which is so important to me! Being able to see and experience new textiles, colour and artwork up close is so amazing and takes your ideas and inspiration to a whole new level.

Because this trip was longer this time around, I also had time to do a few fun things, like the dyeing course with the wonderful team at Dye It Yourself, something that you must do if you are ever in their neck of the woods! The team who host the workshops are so passionate and exciting to work with. They use all natural dyes which they discuss and kick off the workshop with. You get to learn about all the amazing natural products that we can use to dye our clothing with (wherever you are around the world) and the effects and colours each of the ingredients will produce. You then go and meet the master to take part in your own workshop using different dyeing techniques, including block printing, Shibori - my favourite and tie dye. I left the workshop with 4 new amazing pieces and super happy with what I had learnt.

Lastly, I had the chance to take a day and do some sightseeing. I was able to capture some fabulous images in some beautiful locations, all whilst wearing my favourite dress from our Gypsy Dreaming collection. It's such an easy to wear style and a new wardrobe favourite - I love that you can take this with you travelling and it's so easy to pack and layer up if needed.
